#about the first image#i find the conflict between stan caring so deeply for his family while also finding it hard to take their emotions#and wants seriously so interesting#ie him being dismissive with ford's desire to go to wct and mabel's love for waddles#and that's not even getting into his conflicts with dipper that comes from a place of good intentions#wanting him to stand up for himself and wanting to keep him out of danger#but he never tells that to dipper until it's too late!!! dipper thought he hated him!!!!#him also still keeping his walls up even when we all know he's a marshmallow#gravity falls#stan pines#stanley pines
